Symbiosis Summer School 
The Symbiosis Summer School (SSS) offers 10th, 11th & 12th standard students an opportunity to cut through the confusion associated with choices students make after 12th. This programme introduces its participants to the academic programmes, disciplines, and careers available to them.
The Summer School, the first of its kind in India promotes intercultural opportunities for both students and faculty. With expertise in their respective fields, the faculty deliver course content through innovative teaching methods which offer students thoughtful inquiry, robust skill development and insightful discourse.
About us Inspired by the ideals of 'Vishwa Bharati' of Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore and 'Antar Bharati' of Sane Guruji and with a deep desire to help foreign students, an idea of 'Symbiosis' was conceived by Dr. S.B. Mujumdar in the year 1971. The motto of Symbiosis is 'Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam' and truly for the foreign students at Pune it is a 'Home away from Home'. The Symbiosis Centre of International Education, is responsible for promoting this idea and also facilitates the easy settling in of international students at all our campuses. The University has collaborations with several renowned universities of the world and encourages students and faculty to participate in all their Programmes.
Dr. S.B. Mujumdar, the Founder of Symbiosis International University, has always believed that education has a huge role to play in bringing about social justice, international understanding and equality in society. His innovative ideas and proactive need based educational programmes have made Symbiosis known for its brand of education. This Summer School is another example of his pioneering thoughts of offering students an opportunity to explore courses outside their conventional academic Programmes.
Vision Students will benefit from participatory learning experiences that are facilitated by student- faculty interactions, inventive learning methods, and the experiential classroom environment. Through this, students would be challenged to explore new areas of interest, add value to their regular educational programmes, prepare for higher education, and for their future careers. Additionally, this setting offers students the best of Maharashtra's and Pune's heritage, with opportunities to appreciate context, forge new friendships and soak in the learning environment at Symbiosis International University.
